Healthcare environments are often fast-paced, high-pressure, and emotionally charged. The Advanced Healthcare Community Safety course is designed to equip healthcare professionals with the tools they need to manage conflict, recognize early signs of escalation, and respond safely to potentially dangerous situations. Through practical, real-world instruction, participants learn to improve patient interactions, strengthen self-awareness, and build confidence in their ability to stay safe and keep others safe.

Developed in collaboration with Sam Houston State University and the Institute for Homeland Security, this two-hour, self-paced course covers key topics including de-escalation, pre-assaultive indicators, behavioral influence, and customer service in high-stress settings. Taught by a seasoned law enforcement and crisis intervention expert, this training empowers healthcare teams with skills they can use immediately—whether working on the floor, in administration, or in support roles.
