GET SAFE Bullying Prevention & Response Training

Bullying has become a hot-button issue in our communities; it can often be a precursor to an escalation of violence on campus, which can take the form of physical violence or even an active shooter situation. Equipping schools with the tools to properly prevent, respond to, and recover from bullying is no longer an option—it is now an imperative. GET SAFE™’s Bullying Prevention & Response Training provides highly-targeted information, techniques and tools to help schools more effectively recognize and respond to the various forms of bullying behavior (verbal, social, cyber, and physical.) To guarantee everyone is working together to put an end to this epidemic, GET SAFE offers its school-wide training for students, faculty and parents alike.

GET SAFE BACKOFF! Buddy Bullying Prevention Seminar

On January 8th, GET SAFE hosted a Bullying Prevention & Safety Seminar for 26 students from the Santa Ana Gang Reduction Intervention Partnership (GRIP) Program. During this 6-hour event, students from five Santa Ana School District Elementary Schools learned about personal and school safety, leadership, and bullying prevention. GET SAFE would like to thank Officer Eric Rivas, the GRIP program, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, Santa Ana PD, OC Sheriff’s, Kiwanis Club of Santa Ana, Chik-Fil-A, and all our volunteers and parents for making this day happen. Last but not least, we’d like to give a HUGE thank you to all the students who participated! You are all great leaders and we can’t wait to see what you do as BACKOFF! Buddies.
