AFTER ATTACKS IN SANTA ANA, CBS 2 NEWS ASKS GET SAFE FOR ADVICE
CBS2 News once again asked Safety Expert, Stuart Haskin, Executive Director of Get Safe, to comment when they reported an incident at a local Santa Ana gym where a sexual predator has been spotted following, and subsequently attacking, women as they walk to their car. Reporter Brittney Hopper asked him to offer advice for everyone about public safety and awareness in our neighborhoods, as well as when we are out and about. “The majority of attackers do not want to deal with anything difficult – so if you are the victim of an attack, use your voice, fight back, draw attention to yourself, and try and get to a safe area – the attackers want an easy target, so don’t be one.” To see the interview in its entirety click here.
