GET SAFE Programs for Persons with Developmental Disabilities

GET SAFE is the leader in violence prevention, crisis intervention and recovery programs for persons with developmental disabilities and those who care for them. This video highlights just a few of our programs for people with disabilities, as well as some testimonials from our students!

Character Academy Summer Camp 2014 Wrapped Up!

Thanks to a generous donation from the Ford Motor Company Fund, 25 students from the Gang Reduction Intervention Partnership (GRIP) Program were able to attend the GET SAFE Character Academy Summer Camp for a month FREE. Our campers learned living skills, personal safety, how to stay active and healthy, violence/abuse prevention, and how to be a BACKOFF! Buddy by promoting inclusion and speaking up against all types of bullying. Can’t wait until next year!

1 year ago we opened our new location!

Wow! One year ago today, GET SAFE held an Open House to celebrate the grand opening of its Training & Resource Center. The day was filled with fun activities, including guided tours of the new Tustin, CA facility, meet & greets with the GET SAFE Training Crew, food & refreshments, and of course, free demonstrations of the classes offered at TARC, including cardio kickboxing, boot camp, personal self-defense and kids self-defense. A year later with many more to come, we find ourselves extremely grateful to everyone who has made all of this possible!!

Proud of our campers!

So proud of all the campers who graduated from our four-week Character Academy today!
